School, Youth Groups, Colleges or Universities

Support Jigsaw for a day, a term or even a year, and make a difference to our autistic children and adults.

There are lots of ways your school, youth group, college or university can help support Jigsaw. Whatever you decide to do, our team will be there to support you every step of the way.

You could organise an event or activity such as:

The Jigsaw PECS Challenge – try communicating by using picture cards for a few hours or if you’re really ambitious a whole day. There are a large number of pupils at Jigsaw School who are non-verbal or non-vocal. This is a great way to put yourself in their shoes and learn about the challenges faced by many people with autism. It’s also a great fundraising initiative!

Other fundraising ideas include sponsored walks, sponsored swims, cake sales, dances, variety shows and football tournaments. You could also support Jigsaw through existing events such as school fairs, RAG weeks or talent shows.

We can also help by offering workshops, assembly presentations and a variety of fundraising and awareness raising initiatives. We’ve also experience of running projects where young people and students have worked alongside our pupils at Jigsaw School.

Companies and Workplaces

We form meaningful partnerships with companies of all sizes, aligning our vital work with their brand and values.

We understand that a partnership is a two-way thing and Jigsaw will work hard to ensure that whoever we work with receives an outstanding level of support. We’re also aware that a partnership can mean a great deal more than fundraising and offers fantastic opportunities to raise awareness and break down some of the misconceptions that surround autism.

There are many ways in which a company can support Jigsaw Trust.

Charity of the Year Partnership – if your company has an official Charity of the Year scheme you could nominate or choose Jigsaw Trust to be your next beneficiary. We’re more than happy to come and speak to staff at your workplace and equally you could come and see our services first-hand.

Corporate Donations – if your company is interested in donating to charities, then you could put Jigsaw forward as a possible candidate for support.

Staff Fundraising – there are a variety of events and activities you and your colleagues could take on to support Jigsaw. You could organise a dress down day at work, a pub quiz, cake sale or take on a team challenge such as a cycle ride or a skydive. Whatever you fancy, we’ll be on hand to support you.

There are some fantastic benefits for companies that work with Jigsaw Trust:

– We can help you develop or fulfil your Corporate Social Responsibility plan.
– We can help you engage employees, build camaraderie and shared purpose beyond day to day tasks.
– We can offer positive PR opportunities by promoting everything you do via social media and the press.
– You can help Jigsaw build a better understanding of autism and the challenges faced by people with disabilities around the workplace.

We’re always keen to talk to staff about our work and equally we’d love to invite your staff to see Jigsaw’s services first hand, so please do get in touch if you’d like to find out more about Jigsaw and the people we support.

Trusts and Foundations

Trusts and Foundations have been critical to Jigsaw’s growth and we continue to rely on their support to ensure Jigsaw can continue to offer outstanding services to children and adults living with autism.

Trust and Foundations have helped fund equipment needs, extracurricular programs and capital appeals and we have enjoyed building strong relationships with some amazing funders over the last few years.

Jigsaw Trust is dedicated to developing our services to meet the needs of people living with autism. The pressures to extend our services, reach more individuals and families and develop new innovative and exciting provisions mean that Trusts and Foundations will play a huge role towards supporting some of society’s most vulnerable individuals. If you’re part of a Trust or Foundation that would be interested in finding out more about Jigsaw’s work, we would love to have a conversation with you.
