Help support our work and fundraise for autistic children and adults by taking part in an event for Jigsaw.

SPOTLIGHT EVENT – Brighton Half Marathon – Sunday 2 March 2025 (9.30am)
Run for Jigsaw! Run the iconic Brighton course and take in the spectacular views along the way all whilst raising funds for Jigsaw Trust, supporting autistic children and adults from Surrey and surrounding counties. The 13.1 mile race is one of the most popular half marathons, so sign up fast!
All our pre-booked ‘charity places’ have now been filled but don’t worry, you can still sign up for one of the event’s Open places and Run for Jigsaw – entry costs £46.50 (+ booking fee) and you can email [email protected] for entry support, tips on how to set up your fundraising page and request your ‘Jigsaw Trust’ running shirt. It’s really simple to set up a fundraising page on Give As You Live – visit Give As You Live – Jigsaw 25 Years and click ‘start fundraising’ to set up your page and link your fundraising efforts directly to Jigsaw Trust.
The funds you raise help us continue to provide vital support and opportunities for our learners – our great thanks to everyone who is taking part on our behalf, we really appreciate your support.

Running Events

There are a huge number of fantastic running events taking place every year. These range from 5km to full-marathons and all offer a fantastic opportunity to fundraise for your favourite causes. We have included list of some of the bigger events below but there are many other running events (local, national and international) out there. London Marathon – Simply put, it’s the biggest event in the running calendar. If you win an open ballot place, please consider running for Jigsaw! We do not have any allocated charity places for Sunday 27 April 2025, but you can still run and show your support for the work we do with autistic children and adults here at Jigsaw! Vitality Big Half – takes place on 7 September 2025 and is organised by London Marathon Events. The 13.1-mile course takes runners from Tower Bridge to the Cutty Sark in Greenwich. Finishers receive an exclusive T-shirt from New Balance and a finisher medal. Royal Parks Half Marathon – One of the best half marathon events in London which takes in Hyde Park, Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens. If you are fortunate enough to have your own place, please consider running for Jigsaw.

Cycling Events

Night Rider London – wonderful ride through London overnight. Click the link for more details and dates.
London to Brighton Ride – September each year: This fantastic challenge is perfect for solo cyclists, groups and all levels of riders – the event is complete with free buffet lunch, plenty of water stops and an incredible atmosphere. Please consider cycling for Jigsaw if you have your own place.

Skydives, Treks & Swims

Skydiving for Jigsaw – seasonal: Can you imagine what it would be like jumping out of a plane thousands of feet in the sky and experiencing the incredible rush as you dive into the air and freefall towards the earth? Followed closely by the tranquility when the canopy opens, gliding for a mile until your feet finally reach the ground. Turn your sponsored skydive for Jigsaw into a reality. You can pick your own date and venue. Contact the Fundraising Team on 01483 277366 or via [email protected] to find out more. £50 deposit required to secure your skydive place and a fundraising pledge of £350 (10,000ft) or £495 (15,000ft).
Surrey Hills Challenge – September each year: Set in the beautiful landscape of the Surrey Hills on the Greensand Way, people of all ages and fitness can sign-up to a challenge that suits them.
Thames Bridges Trek – This is a wonderful 25km trek that see’s 2000 trekkers zig-zagging over the array of historic bridges whilst taking in unrivalled views across the capital.
Thames Path Challenge – The full Thames Path Challenge 100km route heads from Putney Bridge past Hampton Court via Runnymede all the way to Henley. With half & quarter distance options – there’s a challenge for everyone.
Horsham Lions Swimarathon 2025 – the 14th Horsham Lions Swimarathon which is taking place at The Pavilions in Horsham on Sunday 23 March 2025. This popular event is a great way for teams to swim and raise funds for Jigsaw. Please return the application form for your team as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!
Swim Serpentine – This swimming festival is held in and around the beautiful Serpentine in Hyde Park, the venue for the open water swimming competition at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Jurassic Coast Challenge – Walk, Jog or Run the spectacular Jurassic Coast – a World Heritage Site.
