There are a huge number of fantastic running events taking place every year. These range from 5km to full-marathons and all offer a fantastic opportunity to fundraise for your favourite causes. We have included list of some of the bigger events below but there are many other running events (local, national and international) out there. The Vitality Big Half – 1st March 2020: Jigsaw has a limited number of places for this is fantastic half marathon that takes in half the route of the famous London Marathon. To register for a charity place you will need to pay a £20 entry fee and pledge to raise a minimum of £350. Contact [email protected] for more information.
Reading Half Marathon – 5th April 2020: The race culminates in a finish rarely found outside an Olympic stadium with over 15,000 people cheering you into the stadium and over the finish line. Please consider running for Jigsaw if you have your own place.
Brighton Marathon – 19th April 2020: The UK’s second largest marathon passes along Brighton’s glorious seafront and finishes at the iconic Madeira Drive in front of thousands of cheering spectators. Please consider running for Jigsaw if you have your own place.
Manchester Marathon – 5th April 2020: Starting and finishing at the iconic Emirates Old Trafford, this award winning event has been named the UK’s flattest, fastest and friendliest marathon. Please consider running for Jigsaw if you have your own place.
London Marathon – 26th April 2020: Simply put, it’s the biggest event in the running calendar. Jigsaw Trust has managed to secure one charity place for 2020, if you are interested running the marathon for Jigsaw, please email [email protected] for more information. If you were lucky enough to have secured your own ballot place, then please do consider running for Jigsaw Trust.
Vitality London 10,000 – 25th May 2020: This is a fantastic 10km that starts on The Mall and finishes on Spur Road opposite Buckingham Palace. Please consider running for Jigsaw if you have your own place.
Royal Parks Half Marathon – 2020 date TBC: One of the best half marathon events in London which takes in Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens. If you are fortunate enough to have your own place, please consider running for Jigsaw.

BM Ride, Brighton – 19th April 2020: BM Ride offers cyclists of all abilities the exclusive opportunity to enjoy the sights of Brighton city centre and the seafront on closed roads over a 50km distance. Please consider cycling for Jigsaw if you have your own place.
Night Rider London – 2020 date tbc: This fun filled charity cycle ride is about taking on the challenge and seeing the sights. It’s not a race and it’s not timed. Please consider cycling for Jigsaw if you have your own place.
London to Brighton Ride – 13th September 2020: This fantastic challenge is perfect for solo cyclists, groups and all levels of riders – the event is complete with free buffet lunch, plenty of water stops and an incredible atmosphere. Please consider cycling for Jigsaw if you have your own place.
Prudential RideLondon – 16th August 2020: with more than 25,000 people taking part this is the biggest closed road cycling event in the UK. Please consider cycling for Jigsaw if you have your own place.

Skydiving for Jigsaw – seasonal: Can you imagine what it would be like jumping out of a plane thousands of feet in the sky and experiencing the incredible rush as you dive into the air and freefall towards the earth? Followed closely by the tranquility when the canopy opens, gliding for a mile until your feet finally reach the ground. Turn your sponsored skydive for Jigsaw into a reality. Surrey Hills Challenge – 27th September 2020: Set in the beautiful landscape of the Surrey Hills on the Greensand Way, people of all ages and fitness can sign-up to a challenge that suits them.
Thames Bridges Trek – 12th September 2020: This is a wonderful 25km trek that see’s 2000 trekkers zig-zagging over the array of historic bridges whilst taking in unrivaled views across the capital.
Thames Path Challenge – 12/13th September 2020: The full Thames Path Challenge 100km route heads from Putney Bridge past Hampton Court via Runnymede all the way to Henley. With half & quarter distance options – there’s a challenge for everyone.
Swim Serpentine – 2020 date tbc: This swimming festival is held in and around the beautiful Serpentine in Hyde Park, the venue for the open water swimming competition at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Jurassic Coast Challenge – 2020 date tbc: Join 3,000 adventurers of all experience levels & ages and Walk, Jog or Run the spectacular Jurassic Coast – a World Heritage Site.
