JUMP FOR JIGSAW

Jigsaw Trust is inviting daredevils to help celebrate World Autism Awareness Month in April by jumping out of an aircraft at 15,000 feet – reassuringly attached to a parachute and an experienced instructor!

The Jump For Jigsaw day on Saturday 25 April starts with brief but comprehensive training by GoSkyDive at Old Sarum Airfield near Salisbury, including a simulator, before a 10-minute flight to 10,000 or 15,000 feet over Wiltshire.

Then comes the moment to jump from the aircraft and skydive at 125mph for an exhilarating 30-60 seconds before the instructor opens the parachute for a gentle scenic descent.

Join now!

To join the Jigsaw team for the day, skyjumpers need to pay a £50 deposit and commit to raising at least £350 for a 10,000-feet jump or £495 for 15,000 feet for the charity through sponsorship.

Places can be booked via goskydive.com/jigsaw-trust, where there are also full details of the experience. Fundraising can be started by setting up a JustGiving page, by visiting justgiving.com/jigsaw and clicking ‘Fundraise for us’.

All proceeds will go to supporting Jigsaw’s work with children and adults with autism.

The skydive is part of Jigsaw’s celebration of World Autism Awareness Month.
