We are very pleased to announce the opening of our new Therapeutic Garden, a beautiful sensory-rich space designed to support the wellbeing and learning of our autistic adult learners.

This wonderful project has been made possible thanks to a generous grant from The Mulberry Trust and we are also grateful to the Rutland Group for providing the space that has enabled this vision to become a reality.

Located next to Café on the Park, the garden features raised planting beds with integrated seating, a tumbling waterfall and interactive sensory musical equipment. Carefully selected plants provide year-round sensory experiences, from the fragrant scent of rosemary to ornamental grasses that sway and rustle in the breeze, alongside vibrant colours and textures that bring the space to life.

The garden complements our GARDENworks provision and offers a calm and supportive environment where learners can develop practical skills, reduce anxiety and experience the many therapeutic benefits of gardening and nature.

A special thank you also goes to our fantastic team of volunteers from Signify, who helped prepare the area and carried out the initial groundwork.  We hope you enjoy seeing the finished result.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this wonderful new space possible.
